Memory Center-Hattiesburg Clinic is currently an active site for the IDEAS study. Amyloid plaque accumulation over 20+ years is typically considered the underlying trigger for clinical Alzheimer's disease. Under the appropriate circumstances, once registered for this study, patients may be eligible for Medicare (CMS) to provide insurance coverage for amyloid PET imaging. This is often an important step in clarifying a diagnois of Alzheimer's disease. For more information, contact the Memory Center (601-579-5016) or visit http://www.ideas-study.org/
